storage-spec... Specifies the storage space.

The unit of the volume length is sector, KB, MB, or GB. The unit is added to the length of a
volume as a suffix (s, k, m, or g). By default, the unit is sector.

Usage Guidelines
When using the command, pay attention to the following points:

Description
Specifies the name of a snapshot volume. None.
Specifies the name of a mirroring target. None.
Specifies that multiple snapshot
mirrorings can be created.
Specifies the number of snapshot
mirrorings.
CAUTION
You can expand a volume with the specified length by running the command vxassist
[options] [-b] -g diskgroup growby volume lengthchange [attribute...].
You can expand a volume to the specified length by running the command vxassist
[options] [-b] -g diskgroup growto volume newlength [attribute...].
You can create consecutive volumes of specific length on the default disk group by running
the command vxassist [options] [-b] -g diskgroup make volume length [attribute...].
You can check the maximum length to be expanded of a volume by running the command
vxassist [options] [-b] -g diskgroup maxgrow volume [attribute...].
You can check the maximum length of a volume to be created by running the command
vxassist [options] [-b] maxsize -g diskgroup [attribute...].
You can delete a volume, a volume mirroring, or the storage space specified by the storage
attribute by running the command vxassist [options] -g diskgroup [-b] remove {volume |
mirror} volume [storage-spec...] [attribute...].
You can shrink a volume with the specified length by running the command vxassist
[options] [-f] shrinkby -g diskgroup –v volume lengthchange [attribute...]. You cannot
