Replacing the Hard Disk Drive Fan

Follow these steps to replace the hard disk drive fan:
Note: If you have not already done so, prepare your system for service. Refer to
"Preparing the System for Service" on page 44. In order to replace the hard disk drive
fan, you must remove the right side panel.
1. Disconnect the disk drive fan power cable from the interface board. Then remove
the screws that secure the disk drive fan to the enclosure (see Figure 3-30).
2. Carefully remove the fan from the enclosure (see Figure 3-30).
