Installing a riser-card assembly

To install the replacement riser-card assembly, complete the following step:.
1. Read the safety information that begins on page vii and "Installation guidelines"
2. Install the adapter, if one is present. See "Installing an adapter" on page 69.
3. Insert the riser-card assembly into the connector on the system board. Push
4. Install the cover (see "Installing the cover" on page 62).
5. Slide the server into the rack.
6. Reconnect the external cables and the power cords.
7. Turn on the peripheral devices and the server.
