Half Duplex Mode
Usage:
Useful when the user wants symbol data displayed on an auxiliary menu
close to the Imager.
Definition:
In Half Duplex Mode all auxiliary port data and symbol data is sent directly
to the host. Symbol data is displayed on the auxiliary port menu at the
same time the data is sent to the host.
Data Originating from the Auxiliary Port
• Auxiliary port data to the host is ignored if the
• Auxiliary port data or read data is sent to the
host whenever it is received.
• Auxiliary port data is not echoed.
• Auxiliary port data to the host is always sent
without a preamble or postamble.
Data Originating from the Imager
• Data is transmitted to the auxiliary port at the
same time it is transmitted to the host.
• Data transmission conforms with all parameters
specified in the configuration menu (e.g. Preamble,
Postamble, End of Read Cycle).
Data Originating from the Host
• All host data is echoed to the auxiliary port in
unpolled mode.
