Front Panel Tilt
Mechanism
The front panel of this unit has a tilt mechanism that allows
you to pull the front panel out and adjust it to a convenient
angle.
To pull the front panel out
Grasp the holds (small protrusions) on both sides of the
front panel and pull out as indicated by the arrow. The
angle can be adjusted in 3 steps (0, 15 or 40 degrees).
To return the front panel to its original
location
Unlock the front panel by first pulling it out to the 40-
degree step, and then pulling it out further. With the front
panel unlocked, push it back in to return it to its original
position.

Connections for using PDZ-1 Proxy
Browsing Software
Using the supplied PDZ-1 Proxy Browsing Software, you
can carry out simple editing with proxy AV data.
For an overview of PDZ-1 and how to install the software,
see "Using PDZ-1 Proxy Browsing Software" on
page 121. For information about how to use the software,
refer to the Help provided in the software.
Using the
(network) connector (FTP
connection)
The following shows an example of an FTP (File Transfer
Protocol) connection.
Note
To use PDZ-1 requires the PDW-HD1500 IP address and
other network-related settings to be made beforehand.
For details of the network-related settings, see "To change
network settings" (page 107).
