VLAN Port Status

Use the VLAN Port Status page to show the VLAN attributes of port members for all VLANs configured by a
selected software module, including PVID, VLAN aware, ingress filtering, frame type, egress filtering, and
UVID.

To display VLAN port status, click Monitor, VLANs, VLAN Port.
2.
Select a software module from the drop-down list on the right side of the page.
NXA-ENET8-2POE Gigabit Ethernet Layer 2 PoE Switch
A software module that uses VLAN management services to configure VLAN
membership and VLAN port settings such as the PVID or untagged VLAN ID.
Refer to the preceding section for a description of the software modules that use
VLAN management services.
Port Identifier.
The native VLAN assigned to untagged frames entering this port.
Configures whether or not a port processes the VLAN ID in ingress frames.
(Default: Disabled)
If a port is not VLAN aware, all frames are assigned to the default VLAN (as spec-
ified by the Port VLAN ID) and tags are not removed.
If a port is VLAN aware, each frame is assigned to the VLAN indicated in the
VLAN tag, and the tag is removed.
If ingress filtering is enabled and the ingress port is not a member of the classified
VLAN of the frame, the frame is discarded.
Shows whether the port accepts all frames or only tagged frames. If the port only
accepts tagged frames, untagged frames received on that port are discarded.
Shows egress filtering frame status, indicating whether frames are transmitted as
tagged or untagged.
Shows the untagged VLAN ID. A port's UVID determines the packet's behavior at
the egress side. If the VID of Ethernet frames leaving a port match the UVID,
these frames will be sent untagged.
Shows whether conflicts exist or not. When a software module requests to set
VLAN membership or VLAN port configuration, the following conflicts can occur:
Functional conflicts between features.
Conflicts due to hardware limitations.
Direct conflicts between user modules.
