7.8.2 How to Install DVD-RAM Unit

Turn off the server and connected devices, and unplug all power cables from
the outlet.

Remove the top cover.

Touch a metal part of the server to discharge static electricity.

Remove all SATA and power cables connected to the CD-ROM unit.

Push the lock button to unlock it and pull the CD-ROM unit towards you to
remove it.

Remove the CD-ROM drive from the frame.

Remove the SATA adapter from the CD-ROM drive and install the DVD-RAM
unit.

Install the DVD-RAM unit in the frame.
Insert the left tab of the frame in the hole on the left side of the DVD-ROM and press the right
side of the DVD-ROM until the lock is clicked.

Install the DVD-RAM unit to the CD-ROM bay of the server.

Connect the SATA and power cables disconnected in Step 4.

Attach the top cover.
