Install the 5-inch internal device in the 5-inch storage bay.
To make it easier to connect the cables, do not slide the device all the way in.

Connect a power cable and a SCSI cable or USB cable to the 5-inch internal
device.

Connect the end with the terminator of the SCSI cable to the 5-inch internal device.
