Click the [Restart Settings] tab.
Configure the settings as follows, depending on the OS.
For Windows Server 2003/Linux
Set [Actions after Power Failure] to [Restore the server].
For Windows 2000 Server
Set [Actions after Power Failure] to [Restore the state before power failure].
Configuration Using Server Management Tools

Turn on the server and insert the "Server Management Tools" CD-ROM into the
CD-ROM drive.

When the DOS prompt window appears, enter the following command and
press the [Enter] key.
C:\>cd smtool
C:\>ipmiview.exe
The Server Management Tools main menu appears.

Use the [↑] and [↓] keys to select [FSC/System Specific Function], and press
the [Enter] key.
The [FSC/System Specific Function] menu appears.

Use the [ ↑ ] and [ ↓ ] keys to select [System Management Control Settings],
and press the [Enter] key.
The [Server Management Control Settings] menu appears.

Configure the settings as follows, depending on the OS.
For Windows Server 2003/Linux
Set the [RestartOnAC/PowerFail] value to [2 (Always On)].
For Windows 2000 Server
Set the [RestartOnAC/PowerFail] value to [0 (as before)].

5.5.5 Turning the Power on via a LAN

You can turn the power on the server from a client (via a LAN) by utilizing the Wakeup on LAN (WOL)
function.
Be sure to install ServerView to control the power supply via a LAN.
When the power cable is disconnected from the server or the server is powered off due to power
interruption, restart the server. Unless the server is restarted, the WOL function will be disabled.
Only onboard LAN supports WOL function on this server. To control the power supply via a LAN, be
sure to connect to the onboard LAN and set the onboard LAN adapter bind to "1".
