8 - External Failure
Condition:
Fault contact (direct connected to the Zone) is triggered (Zone type = External Fault)
Restore:
Fault contact is restored and Fault condition is reset.

External Fault Zone
The zone indicator 8 lights to indicate External Fault conditions.
Enter [8] to step to Zone Indicator list to identify the zone where the fault input is connected.

Quick Arming

Without any PINs, system quick arming can be made by pressing and holding the keypad [#]
for 3 seconds, or the quick perimeter arming can be made by pressing and holding the keypad
[*] for 3 seconds.

Keypad Settings

Keypad Alarm Tone
In case of alarm, if the keypad buzzer is required to prompt alarm, the location 0503 should be
set to 1 in order to output following the system audio alarm event of its area. The default is to
disable keypad alarm tone.
If keypad alarm tone is enabled, the keypad will alarm following the alarm siren ringing time
and stop alarming after completion of the alarm siren ringing time or through resetting of
alarm output.

Times of Keypad Locking
When the times of entering wrong code exceeds the limit for entry of wrong code programmed
in location 0499, all keypads will be locked. The locking time is fixed at 3 minutes.

Fault Report Settings

Fault Prompt Tone
When the command [2] [1] is used for fault inquiry, the keypad can be programmed to sound
prompt tone to indicate new system fault. The system is defaulted to enable. In case of new
fault, all keypads will sound short beep once a minute.
Exit Delay Alarm or Fault
When the delay zone or the following zone completes the exit delay, it is possible to choose to
trigger alarm or fault.

Report the Fault condition to configured destination on Address 124 when the Fault
condition is detected.
Slow flash FAULT indicator (refer the detailed description in chapter keypad indicators).
When the Fault is reset, send the restored report to the configured destinations. The
FAULT indicator is turned off when there is no other system fault.
