After successfully connected, RPS can execute multiple operations, including reading/writing
control panel parameters, remote arming/disarming, viewing log, etc. After the telephone is
successfully connected, RPS will disconnect it with the alarm control panel after 5 minutes of
idling.

IP Connection

IP Remote Connection
The IP remote connection function allows to establish a connection from the remote PC to the
alarm control panel through LAN or WAN to perform remote programming and control. The
remote monitoring center should be installed remote programming software like A-Link Plus
and perform related IP address programming in order to apply this function in LAN (support
DHCP) and WAN.
The IP remote connection is divided into automatic connection and manual connection with
callback confirmation.

Set receiver 1 SUBSCRIBER NUMBER (addresses 0017 - 0022), network remote settings
programming option (addresses 0162 - 0179), i.e., enter IP address and port number of
RPS, DHCP update time on the alarm control panel.
Run RPS on the remote PC and set relevant parameters in relevant operating interfaces
a. Go to "File" and click "Communication Settings" to select "local IP address" in the
"Communication Settings" tab page. If there are multiple IP addressed in the pull-down
menu, be sure to select the latest local IP address and enter the local port, i.e., the RPC
port number of programming option 0174 – 0178, then click "Save".
