REMOVAL
Raise the rear wheel off the ground by placing a

workstand or equivalent under th e engine.
loosen the axle nut.

Remove the axle nut and washer.

Remove the right and left sid e collars.
INSPECTION

Set the axle on V-blocks and measure the runout.
Turn the axle and measure the runout using a dial
indicator.
Actual runout is 1/2 of the total indicator reading.
SERVICE LIMIT: 0.20 mm
