BEARING/MECHANICAL SEAL/OIL
SEAL REPLACEMENT
Remove the water pump shaft bearing using the

special tools.
TOOLS:
Bearing remover set, 12mm
- Remover weight
- Remover head, 12 mm
- Remover shaft

Check the oil seal for damage or dete ri oratio n,
replace it
if
necessary (page 7- 12),
Remove the mechanical and oil seals from the right
crankcase cover.
Apply grease to the oil seal lips.
Install

new oil seal into the right crankcase as
shown.
