20 RESET PROCEDURES

20.1 MEMORY CLEAR

To clear the Scan memory and Preset memory:
1. Turn the radio off.
2. Press and hold the three soft keys at the same time while turning the
radio on.

20.2 MICROPROCESSOR RESETTING

To clear all memories and other settings to factory defaults (except the chan-
nel group, MMSI number, and DSC directory information):
1. Turn the radio off.
2. Press and hold in the
radio on.
