20 RESET PROCEDURES

20.1 MEMORY CLEAR
To clear the Scan memory and Preset memory:
1. Turn the radio off.
2. Press and hold in the three [ Programmable ] keys while turning the radio
on.
20.2 MICROPROCESSOR RESETTING
To clear all memories and other settings to factory defaults (except the Chan-
nel Group, MMSI number, and DSC directory information):
1. Turn the radio off.
2. Press and hold in the [ 16/9 ] , [ CALL ( MENU )] , and [ CLR ( WX )] keys while
turning the radio on.
