How to check and clean the guide flap

Action
1 Remove the top delivery tray and
open the 'Top cover'.
(see 'Pull up the 'Top delivery
tray' and open the 'Top cover'' on
page 178)
2 Check if the guide flap is pollut-
ed with toner.
3 Remove the toner pollution with
the clean card from the guide
flap. The pollution, which is
dislodged, should be removed
from the print surface, into the
direction of the 'Top left cover'.
You can find the clean card in
the clean card holder at the un-
derside of the 'Top cover' (left
hand side).
4 Put back the clean card in the
clean card holder.
