Before You Begin

The Nikon Installer program provides two installation options. The first option,
Easy Install, installs all necessary files for your LS-3510AF with GPIB interface. This
can only be installed to a disk with a working System Folder. The second set of options,
Customize, allows you to specify installation of software for other Nikon products. Both
options allow you to quit during the installation if desired.
There are times when you will already have another imaging application loaded
onto your Macintosh and would like to use the Nikon Scanner plug-in in conjunction
with it. For example, you might be using Nikon ImageAccess or Adobe Photoshop. If
you already have one of these applications loaded onto your computer, all that is
required is to run the Nikon Installer, then copy the Nikon Scanner plug-in from the
N C folder to the desired folder. The Nikon Scanner plug-in can then be

automatically accessed by your existing imaging software.
The LS-3510AF/LS-3500 GPIB software must be installed to a system disk.

The Nikon Installer will not allow installation of the GPIB Drivers to a non-
system disk.
It is strongly recommended that you disable all virus protection software before

using the Nikon Installer. Some virus protection software may be triggered by the
Nikon Installer.

Running the Nikon Installer

Step 1. Double-click the N
The Installer will display an introductory screen.
Step 2. Click the OK button.
Step 3. The following message will appear:
