Custom gamma curves can be created in Photoshop only by saving them from the
!
"Curves" dialog, not from "Levels" or other dialogs. Only curves stored as coeffi-
cients for a B-spline curve generator can be loaded by the plug-in. Photoshop
stores curves from the Curves dialog using this method. Other methods, such as
bitmap, are not compatible.

Resetting the Gamma Curves

When working in the Gamma Curve Editor dialog, it is possible to reset the
gamma curves to their original values by clicking on the R
16.10. The original values are those in effect at the time that the Gamma Curve Editor
dialog is invoked. This should not be confused with the R
Scan dialog.
If the Option key (Macintosh) or Control key (Windows) is held down while the
R button is clicked, all of the curves will be reset.
