Definition
The port is incorporated into the token ring
path.
A port connection has been broken and a
restart process has begun.
Both ends of the port's requested connection
are synchronized.
This signal ensures that both ends of a
connection can enter the active state together.
The port is exchanging connection information
with its neighboring ports.
The port is in an Off state.
The port is ready to transmit data.
The port recognizes a fault condition and is
trying to detect its location.
The port is in the process of entering the
Active state.
The port has moved from the Off state to the
Maint state, which can be used to determine
the status of the neighboring machine.
