Check ths vacuum routing:

2. Start the engine and let it idle.
3. At the EGR control solenoid
valve side, connect the bat-
tery positive terminal to the
E G R c o n t r o l s o l e n o i d v a l v e
connectot terminal No. 1.
4 . W h i l e w a t c h i n g t h e v a c u u m
g a u g e , c o n n e c t t h e b a t t e r y
negative terminal to the EGR
control solenoid valve 2P con-
nector terminal No. 2,
ls there approx.26.7 kPa
1200 mmHg,8.0 in.Hg) of
vacuum within 'l second?
Chock the vlcuum hos6s:
1. Turn the ignition switch OFF.
2. Inspect the No. 16 and No. 10
hoses for leaks, restrictions or
mtsrouUng.
