RIP Route Redistribution Configuration

To display the following form, select Layer 3 > Routing Information Protocol > Static Route
Redistribution, Fixed Route Redistribution, OSPF Route Redistribution, or OSPF External
Route Redistribution.
Descriptions
Enables or disables Triggered Updates. Triggered Updates are used to speed
convergence. When enabled, Triggered Updates force a router to send update
messages immediately, even if it is not yet time for the update message. The default
value is disabled.
Enables or disables multicast updates of the routing table (using address
224.0.0.9). The default value is disabled.
Enables or disables split horizon. The default value is enabled.
Configures the route metric, which indicates the relative distance to the destination.
The default value is 1.
Configures the authentication type. The default is none.
Configures the authentication key password.
