Configuring RADIUS Server Information
Beginning in Privileged EXEC mode, use the following commands to add
information about a RADIUS server to the switch.

Purpose
Specify up to three keywords to exclude in a password. The
password does not accept the keyword in any form (in
between the string, case in-sensitive and reverse) as a
substring.
Verify the strength of a password during configuration.
Exit to Privileged EXEC mode.
View the configured settings for passwords.
View information about the last password configuration
attempt and whether it was successful.
Purpose
Enter Global Configuration mode.
Specify a RADIUS server host and enter RADIUS
Configuration mode.
• acct | auth — The type of server (accounting or
authentication). If no type is specified, the type is
authentication.
ipaddress

— The RADIUS server host IP address.
hostname
•
— Host name of the RADIUS server host
(Range: 1–255 characters).
Specify the source IP address to be used for
communication with Radius servers. 0.0.0.0 is interpreted
as a request to use the IP address of the outgoing IP
interface.
Assign a name to a RADIUS server. The default RADIUS
server name is Default-RADIUS-Server.
