Channel Difference – CHD
4.2.3.1.7
CHD shows the user all of the differences between the Channel 1 and Channel 2 configurations. Any parameters
which do not match are shown. For example:
1_D2>>CHD
freq_desired_hz
freq_actual_hz
band_sel
band_sel
id_type
internal_i_clock_hz
DTX_atten_level
vp_desired_power_level
pa_current_atten_dB
clock_free_bitrate_bps
Found 10 differences between channel 1 and channel 2
D2 enabled (requires independent mode)
Independent mode required
CHD always shows 'Independent mode required' when D2 = 1.
If there are any differences between channel 1 and 2 configurations (as shown with CHD above), then a second '>'
is added to the prompt after the channel number to let the user know the channels are not set to the same parameters.
Dual Input Data – D2
4.2.3.1.8
D2 allows the user to enable or disable the dual input data function. On a unit with the CF (clock free) option, the
user can put a second channel of input data to be used with channel 2 output into the transmitter on the clock input
pin(s).
D2 always applies to both channels simultaneously, and also requires independent mode. If D2 is enabled while in
Channel 1 or Channel 2, it will always be enabled in both channels, but the active channel number is not changed.
If Clock free is disabled (CF 1), D2 is automatically disabled (D2 0).
If D2 is enabled, and the mode changes to STC (Mode 13), D2 is automatically disabled.
