3. Use the previously removed bracket screw to secure the bracket in place (see
Figure 3-33).

Replace the desktop front panel (see Replacing the Desktop Front Panel).

Minitower Storage Device Installation

The following subsections describe how to install 3 1/2-inch and 5 1/4-inch drives. The
installation procedures include:

installing a 3 1/2-inch drive in the minitower internal front slot
T
installing a 3 1/2-inch drive in the minitower rear slot
T
removing the minitower front panel
T
installing a minitower 5 1/4-inch device
T
replacing the minitower front panel.
NOTE: If a 1.2-MB diskette drive was installed,
remove the protective cardboard insert from the
drive.
