3. Identify the slot for the device being installed.
Remove the blank panel from the selected slot by pressing the panel tabs from

inside the front panel and pushing the blank panel out (see Figure 3-30).
Remove the perforated metal plate from the selected slot on the chassis by pulling

the metal plate back and forth until it releases.
Install the device (see Installing the Desktop 5 1/4-Inch Device).
