Clearing IGMP Entry

To clear IGMP entries, use the following command.
Command
clear ip igmp
clear ip igmp interface INTER-
FACE
clear ip igmp group { * | A.B.C.D
[ INTERFACE ]}

IGMP Debug

To enable debugging of all IGMP or a specific feature of IGMP, use the following com-
mand.
Command
debug igmp { all | decode | en-
code | events | fsm | tib }
no debug igmp { all | decode |
encode | events | fsm | tib }
Tree Information Base (TIB) is the collection of state at a router that has been created by
receiving IGMP messages from local hosts.
Mode
Deletes all IGMP entries.
Deletes the IGMP entries learned from a specified
interface.
Enable
INTERFACE: interface name
Deletes IGMP entries in a specified IGMP group.
*: all IGMP group
A.B.C.D: IGMP group address
Mode
Enables IGMP debugging.
all: all IGMP
decode: IGMP decoding
encode: IGMP encoding
events: IGMP events
Enable
fsm: IGMP Finite State Machine (FSM)
tib: IGMP Tree Information Base (TIB)
Disables IGMP debugging.
