Cooling

1. Overview
The RG-S6510-4C adopts the front-to-rear airflow. Air flows in through the ports and out through the power
module, as shown in
Caution

Maintain a minimum clearance of 200 mm (7.87 in.) around the equipment for air circulation.

At least three fan modules are required. If any slot is unoccupied, install a filler panel to enable proper
airflow and to keep dust out of the chassis.

Dust the equipment every three months to avoid blocking the ventilation openings on the housing.

Description
The virtual USB port integrates the
serial-to-USB chip for virtual serial
port communication. It is used for
system debugging, configuration,
maintenance, management, and
software uploading.

Note
The serial port is the
console port by default.
After the USB cable is
plugged into the mini-USB
port, the mini-USB port
functions as the serial
port. After the USB cable
is disconnected, the serial
port switches back to the
console port again.
