5.4 Industrial Interface

Tabs on the Industrial page allow you to set the configuration settings for Serial RS232 and RS485,
Digital input and output. Select Serial & Digital IO from the main navigation menu to navigate to
this page.

5.4.1 Serial

You can view the status of the serial connection, as shown in the following image:
Serial->Status
Enable

Displays the status of the current serial function.
Serial Type
•
Displays the serial type of the COM port.
Transmission Method
•
Displays the transmission method of this serial port.
Protocol
•
Displays the protocol used for this serial port.
Connection Status
•
Displays the connection status for this serial port.
