3.3 Installation 3.3.1 Standalone The Teldat M2 router family is designed to be placed on any flat and stable surface, functioning perfectly as a stan- dalone device. To ensure proper functioning, it is important to provide sufficient space around the router for ventilation. Additionally, make sure that the power cord and data cables can be easily connected to the device. -

3.3.2 Wall mounting The Teldat M2 router family has two slots on its underside that can be used for wall mounting. We recommend using the following accessories, suitable for both solid and Gypsum board (plaster) walls: • 2 screws: [3.5x30 mm coach screw with a 90-degree head angle]. -

The Teldat M2 router family offers various data connections: 3.6.1 4-port Ethernet switch connections To connect to a local area network (LAN), the Teldat M2 router family features a 4-port 10/100/1000 Base-T switch with automatic MDI/MDIX. It is important to carefully differentiate this switch from other port types, so please pay close attention to the labeling. -
