Specifying Windows Authentication

❒ Under Windows authentication, the machine and domain controller commu-
nicate using SSL, so you need to create a server certificate for the domain con-
troller. For details about creating the certificate, see p.56 "Creating the Server
Certificate".

❒ If you do not want to use user authentication management, select [Off].

Press [Change] for "Domain Name", enter the name of the domain controller
to be authenticated, and then press [OK].
If global groups have been registered:
If global groups have been registered, you can limit the use of functions for
each global group.
You need to create global groups in the Windows server in advance and reg-
ister in each group the users to be authenticated.
