TARTUP UNCTIONAL
Ensure that you are familiar with the principles of operation by reading Section 9.
After making all of the electrical and pneumatic connections, turn on the instrument. The
exhaust fan (and pump if photometer options is installed) should start immediately. A
sequence of status screens (Figure 2-21) appear on the display, followed by the Home page
(Figure 2-22) with the calibrator in STANDBY mode after completing the boot-up
sequence.

The portable calibrator requires at least 30 minutes for all of its internal components to
reach a stable operating temperature, during which time most warnings and other messages,
called Alerts, will be suppressed.
