Source Power (AL ) orrection, Adjustment #104
In this procedure, the analyzer creates a table of values that corrects the source output power
over di erent frequencies and power levels. he analyzer reads values from a power meter to
determine the actual source output level. An HP 437B or HP 438A power meter is required for
this test. Other power meters will not be controlled correctly by the analyzer.
Note
If your analyzer has a step attenuator installed (HP 8730A or Option 1E1
analyzers), you need an HP 8481D power sensor to perform this adjustment

procedure.
