When the BF LED turns on in red
Check the following items in order from the top.
Item
Are the Ethernet cables between the master station, hub, NZ2FT-
GN (or between the master station and NZ2FT-GN directly
connected) inserted as far as they will go?
Has the Ethernet cable been disconnected?
Is the IP address setting switch set to 255?
Are there any mistakes in the parameter settings of the master
station and NZ2FT-GN?
Is the firmware version appropriate?
Is the RUN/STOP/RESET switch of the master station CPU
module in the STOP or RESET position?
Has an error occurred in the master station?
Is event code 00C71 registered in the event history of the master
station?
When the BF LED is flashing in red
Check the following items in order from the top.
Item
Is the electronic unit part detached?
Are the NZ2FT-GN and I/O module connected with no clearance
between them?
Is a firmware update in progress?
When the MT LED turns on in yellow
Check the following item.
Item
Is the I/O module mounted correctly?
When the LINK P1 LED and LINK P2 LED turn off
Check the following items in order from the top.
Item
Are the Ethernet cables between the master station, hub, NZ2FT-
GN (or between the master station and NZ2FT-GN directly
connected) inserted as far as they will go?
Has the Ethernet cable been disconnected?
Is the power of the connection destination (master station and
hub) turned off?
Is there any noise affecting the system?

7.9 Troubleshooting
Action
Push in the Ethernet cable of each connection section until it clicks.
Replace the Ethernet cable.
Set the IP address setting switch in the range of 0 to 254.
Review the parameters of the master station and NZ2FT-GN.
■Master module
• IP address setting
• Network configuration setting
■NZ2FT-GN
• Parameter "IP address"
• Parameter "Subnet mask"
Check the firmware version of the master module and NZ2FT-GN. Update the firmware if
necessary.
Set the RUN/STOP/RESET switch of the master station CPU module to the RUN position.
Follow the manual of the master station and perform troubleshooting.
• The network synchronization communication setting may be enabled for I/O modules
that do not support CC-Link IE TSN network synchronization communications. Disable
the network synchronization communication setting.
• If event code 00C71 is registered even after performing the above, refer to the manual
of the master station and eliminate the cause of event code 00C71.
Action
Insert the electronic unit part.
Connect the NZ2FT-GN and the I/O module with no clearance between them.
Wait for the firmware update to end.
Action
Mount the I/O module again by pressing it to the NZ2FT-GN until it clicks.
Action
Push in the Ethernet cable of each connection section until it clicks.
Replace the Ethernet cable.
Turn on the power of the connection destination (master station and hub).
Perform the following.
• Install a noise filter between the external power supply and the NZ2FT-GN.
• Attach a ferrite core to the Ethernet cable.
