2-10 Third Order Intercept (TOI)
The following test is used to verify the Displayed Average Noise Level (DANL) of the spectrum analyzer
systems in the MS272xC Spectrum Master. This test is performed using the RMS detection mode.
The following test verifies the Third Order Intercept point (also known as TOI or IP3) of the spectrum analyzer
in Spectrum Master Models MS2722C, MS2723C, MS2724C, MS2725C, and MS2726C.

• Power Splitter, Aeroflex/Weinschel Model 1870A
• Power Sensor, Anritsu Model MA2442D (10 MHz to 18 GHz, –67 dB to +20 dB)
• Fixed Attenuator, Aeroflex/Weinschel Model 442
• Fixed Attenuator, Aeroflex/Weinschel Model 446
• Fixed Attenuator, Aeroflex/Weinschel Model 4420
• RF Coaxial Cable, N(m) to N(f), Anritsu Model 15NNF50-1.5C (3)
