6. Remove the Main Keypad PCB, taking care not to damage the speaker wires. The Keyboard PCB is
attached to the Main PCB Assembly with the socket connector shown in
7. Reverse the above steps to install the replacement assembly, with the following cautions:
• Carefully close the locking tab on connector J2 to secure the flexible switch pad connection. The
tab should "snap" into position when fully closed.
• Insert the membrane over the keypad PCB, and under the speaker. Take care to properly orient
the membrane so that the rubber pins are aligned with the keypad switches on the PCB.
• The speaker is held in place by four locating pins on the inside of the keypad bezel. Verify that the
four locating pins are properly seated into the four corner holes of the speaker when reinstalling
the bezel.
• Verify that all locking tabs are fully seated into the main body of the case when reinstalling the
bezel.
