23. Record the amplitude for 50.1 MHz. Use

24. Press the Freq main menu key and select the Center Freq submenu key.
25. Use the keypad to enter 100.2 and press the MHz submenu key.
26. Press the Shift key and then press the Trace (5) key, then select the Trace A Operations submenu key.
27. Press the # of Averages submenu key, use the keypad to enter 5 and then press the Enter key.
28. Wait until the Trace Count displays 5/5.
29. Press the Marker main menu key and select the Peak Search submenu key.
30. Record the amplitude for 100.2 MHz in the test records. Use
31. Calculate the second Harmonic level in dBc by subtracting the 50.1 MHz amplitude from the 100.2 MHz
amplitude using this formula:
Second Harmonic Level Amplitude @ 100.2 MHz = 100.2 MHz amplitude – 50.1 MHz amplitude = ______ dBc
32. Verify that the calculated Second Harmonic Level is within the specs listed below for the applicable
model under test and record in the test records. Use
• For MS2722C ≤ –54 dBc
• For MS2723C ≤ –54 dBc
• For MS2724C ≤ –54 dBc
• For MS2725C ≤ –54 dBc
• For MS2726C ≤ –50 dBc
