Chapter 2 — Spectrum Analyzer Verification
18. Set the MG3692x or MG3695C frequency to:
• 7 GHz for MS2722C
• 12 GHz for MS2723C
• 18 GHz for MS2724C
• 30 GHz for MS2725C
• 40 GHz for MS2726C
19. Set the MS272xC center frequency to:
• 7 GHz for MS2722C
• 12 GHz for MS2723C
• 18 GHz for MS2724C
• 30 GHz for MS2725C
• 40 GHz for MS2726C
20. Press the Marker main menu key, and select the Peak Search submenu key.
21. Verify that the marker frequency is:
• 7 GHz ± 2.1 kHz (± 0.3 ppm) for MS2722C
• 12 GHz ± 3.6 kHz (± 0.3 ppm) for MS2723C
• 18 GHz ± 5.4 kHz (± 0.3 ppm) for MS2724C
• 30 GHz ± 9.0 kHz (± 0.3 ppm) for MS2725C
• 40 GHz ± 12.0 kHz (± 0.3 ppm) for MS2726C
22. Record the results in the test records. Use
If the unit fails the Spectrum Analyzer Frequency Accuracy test, replace the SPA PCB assembly.
