6.4 Reprogramming
the BiPAP Focus

The serial number of each BiPAP Focus Ventilator is stored in non-volatile
memory on the user interface PCB, and must be reprogrammed if you replace
the PCB.
1. Write down the serial number from the bottom of the unit, include
hyphens if the serial number includes them. Do this before
reprogramming the serial number.
2. All necessary software should already be installed. If not, follow the
instructions in this chapter from the beginning.
3. Enter Download mode and ensure that BiPAP Focus communication
cables are still connected to the service PC.
4. Double-click on TUI_download_wizard.exe on the software CD
(Figure 6-40).
