Chapter 6. Ventilator Communications

This chapter describes how to install operating software onto the BiPAP Focus
ventilator.
1. Connect the service PC to the ventilator and enter ventilator Download
mode (section 6.1).
2. Install USB driver software onto the service PC (section 6.2).
3. Install operating software onto the ventilator (section 6.3).
4. Reprogram the ventilator serial number (section 6.4).
CAUTION: To avoid possible interruption due to power loss, ensure that the ventilator
is running on AC power (not battery) during this process.
