Battery Replacement

Follow these steps to replace the battery (Figure 4-2):
1. Turn the system OFF (O) and disconnect the DC power supply.
2. Remove the two screws that secure the battery compartment door.
3. Remove the old battery: remove from the compartment and unplug the
cable.
4. Install the new battery: plug in the cable and install the battery into
the compartment.
5. Replace the battery compartment door and screws.
6. Reconnect the DC power supply.
CAUTION: Use only Respironics-approved batteries.
7. Allow sufficient time to fully charge the new battery (Battery is fully
charged when the Battery Charging LED turns off).
