8.6 Flow Valve

Follow these steps to remove the flow valve (Figure 8-13). Reverse to install.
1. Remove top cover (section 8.2).
2. Remove the user interface PCB (section 8.4).
3. Remove the controller PCB (section 8.5).

4. Remove the 3 screws, 3 grommets, and valve strap from the valve
assembly.
5. Disconnect the rubber elbow from the blower outlet.
CAUTION:
Do not pull the rubber elbow away from the flow valve. If the rubber elbow
is separated from the flow valve, you must replace the entire assembly.
6. Disconnect the diffuser from the flow valve.
7. Remove or replace the flow valve.
