This section describes the wiring between the IO-Link Master Unit and the IO-Link devices for each
communications mode.

In IO-Link Mode

The wiring in IO-Link Mode is described below.
NX-type IO-Link Master Unit
For an NX-type IO-Link Master Unit, the wiring differs when digital inputs for pin 2 are used and when
it is not used, as indicated in the following figures.
