Add a device DTM (IO-Link device).
1) Right-click the above gateway DTMs (IO-Link Master Unit), select Add, and then click the
Yes Button.
2) In the Add Dialog Box, select one of device DTMs (IO-Link devices) for the each IO-Link
device and click the Yes Button.

in advance.

Use one of the following operations to connect the CX-ConfiguratorFDT.
• Connecting the CX-ConfiguratorFDT to the Controller
1) Right click Nx built-in EtherCAT, OMRON EtherNet/IP, or NX CPU Unit Bus and se-
lect Scan - Create Network.
The downstream network configuration is created automatically.
2) Follow the message displayed on the CX-ConfiguratorFDT.
