1 Introduction to IO-Link Systems
Data Access Methods for Each Device
l Controller Communications with EtherCAT
The following shows the data access methods of each device for controller communications with
EtherCAT.
When accessing by message communications using SDO communications instructions from the
controller to the IO-Link Master Unit connected to an EtherCAT Coupler Unit, EtherCAT Coupler
Unit with unit version 1.5 or later is required.
