Switching Services on the Backplane

The management module can switch a service or partial service on to
an applicable backplane bus. An example of a service might be a
terminal server. A partial service might be a device such as a bridge
port or repeater module.
Switching is performed through the Facility Table screen. The contents
of this screen vary with the module selected to be switched. You will
find details of the variations in the manual covering management of
the network technology used by the module.

Intelligent Module Management

If an Intelligent Service (e.g. a bridge) is selected, the address table for
the module is displayed. It will show the MAC, IP and SLIP addresses.
