3 Toggle the value of the Admin state to either Enabled or Disabled as
required.
4 Move to the OK button and press [Return] for the change to take effect.
When the Admin state is disabled, a new field is displayed showing how
the port was disabled. There are three ways to disable a port:
Management, DRI or ZDL (see

If ZDL disables a port, the Admin State will still show ENABLED.
5 ZDL can be controlled by toggling the value through Disabled or
Enabled. ZDL is described in
ZDL is not supported by the standard MAU. The ZDL field on this screen
will not be shown.

Changing the Local Ring Section Number

LinkBuilder MSH Token Ring products have switches which select the
local ring section(s) to which the module is assigned. The switch
selection can be overridden by the management command using the
VT100 Facility Table screen (see
