access for level 2 is the same as that of level 1, and that for level 4
equal to that of level 3. In the default settings the access levels provide
the following access rights.
Security Access Level 5 - Allows the user full read/write access to all
elements of the MIB. Changes can be made on all screens where this is
an option. Read/write access to RMON features is permitted.
Specialist Access Level 4 - - Manager Access Level 3 - Allows the
user to read and make changes to the operational parameters, but not
to have access to the 'Delete Users' or 'Local Security' screens or the
Audit Log. Read/write access to RMON features is permitted.
Secure Monitor Access Level 2 - - Monitor Access Level 1 -
Allows the user to read the status of all modules and their ports. No
parameters may be changed.
Read/write access is normally required for effective RMON monitoring.

Default Users

There are three default users for the MSH management facility. You
cannot delete the default users but you can and should change the
password (see "Changing Passwords" on page 5-16). If setting up an
SNMP manager, you may change the community string if you wish.

The user name and password are case sensitive. You must type the
default user names and passwords in lower case to gain access to the
facility.
The community string is also case sensitive. Its use is described in
"Changing Passwords"
