chassis, which links the two token ring networks within the chassis.

Token Ring Services
A token ring service is a set of token ring modules which operate
together as a group. A service may consist of an entire ring, a section of
a larger ring, or a simple attachment to another ring. For instance, a
service may comprise a single RingBuilder Module with one or more
token ring MAUs which form a local ring section, or a single isolated
RingBuilder. All the modules in a service share a common local ring
section number. Up to 5 such local ring sections may operate within
the MSH chassis.
The local ring section to which a MAU or RingBuilder is assigned is set
via switches on each module. However, this setting can be overridden by
management command, for example through VT100 management (see
"Changing the Local Ring Section Number"
Information about the token ring services, for instance which modules
make up a group, can be found via the display panel (see
through VT100 management via the Service Selection Menu (see
"Token Ring Management"
management station.
