The list box displays the MACs available for sharing within the MSH
hub. The information is displayed as follows:
Slot - Displays the number of the MSH slot occupied by the module of
the identified MAC.
MAC No - Specifies the number of the MAC on the module that can
be shared.
Although the MSH RingBuilder may have up to 2 MACs installed, only
MAC1 can be shared.
Service - Displays the name of the service to which the identified
module belongs. To change the MAC used by the management
module, follow these steps.
1 Select the particular MAC, by using the cursor key to move to the
appropriate MAC. Then press the space bar to make the selection.
2 Press [Return] to move to the SWITCH button. The SWITCH button will
only be displayed if you are using access level 5.
3 Press [Return] again to make the change. Or move to the CANCEL
button and press [Return] to CANCEL the operation. Before the
management module changes over to using the specified MAC, a
warning message will be displayed. The message reminds you that the
