Setting the Trap Destination Address

Traps are system messages which can alert the system administrator to
faults or changes at the Chassis. Traps are sent by the management
module to a remote network manager such as Transcend.

The Trap Destination Setup screen is accessed via the Device Setup
screen. This screen requires you to complete four fields.
IP or IPX Address
network management station to which SNMP traps should be sent.
Community String
method of authentication between the management module and
the remote network management station. The default Community
String is 'public' . You can overwrite it with any text string of up to 32
characters. The remote network management facility must be
